WHAT IS SMART PIVOT?

 
The Smart Pivot suite of trading systems utilize our propietary sorting algorithm to determine which of the 300+ strategies coded, have done the best over the past 6, 12 and 48 months, based on a number of different factors that consider rate of return, average gain per trade, maximum drawdown, time since last optimization and a handful of other metrics.
 
One potential advantage of Smart Pivot (over other algos offered), is that it will always be trading the strategies that have performed the best, as opposed to a fixed set of strategies that are determined when the product is created.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The different Smart Pivot trading systems are created based on the number of individual strategies they are trading.
SMART PIVOT: ONE ALGO
This package trades a single algo. This algo is the top performing trading strategy, based on the output of the Smart Pivot sorting algorithm.
SMART PIVOT: TWO ALGOS
This package trades the top two performing trading strategies. As an example,  if A2 was the best strategy as determined by the sorting algorithm and A146 was the second best, then the TWO ALGO system would combine those to strategies. Similar to the ONE ALGO strategy, the sorting algo will make any changes that are required to ensure the top two strategies are always being traded.
SMART PIVOT: THREE ALGOS
This package trades the top three performing trading strategies. In our example, that would be A2, A146 along with the third best performing strategy A34. Just as the other systems will do, the sorting algo will make any changes that are required to ensure the top three strategies are always being traded.

STEPS ON GETTING STARTED

    PICK A TRADING SYSTEM

    Setup a time to discuss which system you would like to trade. During this time, we will answer any questions you might have including the pricing and provide you with a list of brokers supported. Once you have decided on a system, we will send you a sales order along with the payment instructions.

  • Step 2

    OPEN & FUND TRADING ACCOUNT

    Once you decide on the system and how much you prefer to trade, we will send you a license agreement electronically. We will also introduce you to the NFA Registered Broker you decided to use. They will help you open & fund the trading account.

  • Step 3

    BEGIN TRADING

    The Algorithms will begin trading. You will be able to follow along in real time on your Smart Phone (iPhone or Android).  You will also receive daily statements from the broker.
